Time Out Magazine

Time Out may be a familiar concept to some travelers. The magazine and website have been informing tourists and locals about food, events and restaurants in various world cities for years. Once started in London, this magazine has grown into a global platform with editions in many major world cities including Madrid, Melbourne, Shanghai and San Francisco. Dubai also has its own version of the popular Time Out magazine.

Next to its own magazine and associated website, Time Out has had the “Time Out Market” concept since 2014. The concept is basically very simple, a large hall or building containing various restaurants, each of which is chosen by the magazine’s editors for their unique dishes. This way you only get the best restaurants under one roof. The first Time Out Market can be found in Lisbon where the hall has been a popular spot for both locals and tourists for many years.
In recent years, the Time Out Market concept has been rolled out worldwide and branches can also be found in Boston, New York, Miami, Chicago and Montreal. Branches are planned for the coming years in Porto, Prague and Abu Dhabi.
