The Mercato Mall shopping center is not particularly large, but due to its striking Italian design, the shopping center is worth a visit. The shopping center is located on Jumeirah Road in the Jumeirah district, close to the sea and the Jumeirah Public Beach.
In designing the inside and outside of the shopping center, the designers have been inspired by the Italian market squares. There are also the necessary stylistic elements from the Renaissance architecture. There are also here and there influences from Spain and France to discover in the design which are combined with calm pastel shades. Everything together this special design of the Mercato Mall creates a unique Mediterranean atmosphere.
A large glass roof can be found in the heart of the shopping center, giving the shopping center a particularly open character. Under this glass roof lies the large central square where you can recover from shopping while enjoying a cup of coffee, fresh fruit juice or a dinner from one of the restaurants in the shopping center.
For the art lovers there is every first Friday and the 3rd Saturday of the month a special Arte market. This is a large pure handmade designer, art, fashion en craft market. You can find up to 150 contemporary and highly original makers and designers. Take your chance and discover this Arte market from 10am to 10pm.
Shops and entertainment
The Mercato Mall has 140 stores where you can get everything. From books to clothing from the famous fashion brands and from electronics to luxury chocolates. Some well-known fashion brands that you can find in the mall are Tommy Hilfiger, Bershka, Armani, Calvin Klein, Diesel, Gap and Mango. For daily groceries you can go to the Spinney’s supermarket on the ground floor. For the latest films, CDs and books you can visit the Virgin Megastore on the first floor of the shopping mall in Dubai.
VOX Cinemas is located in the Mercato Mall. Here you can sit down en relax for a while by one of the movies. For the children there is a special Fun City section where they can enjoy themselves. Fun City can be found on the first floor of the shopping center.
Those who are hungry can go to the food court on the first floor. Here you will find Charley’s Grilled Subs, Chines Palace, KFC, McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, Bella Donna (Italian restaurant), Paul (French cuisine), Chocolate Bar, Costa Coffee and the Starbucks.

The Mercato Mall is open daily from 10 in the morning until 10 in the evening. Some stores are open on Friday until 01:00 a.m. The Spinneys supermarket is open daily from 8 in the morning until 12 in the evening.
