If you find yourself with a layover in Dubai and have some free hours between your arrival and departure flights, you might want to take the opportunity to explore Dubai’s numerous attractions. Thankfully, you can securely store them at various locations in Dubai for a few hours or an entire day, allowing you to roam the city hands-free at your leisure. This service can also prove beneficial for those who need to check out of their accommodations in the morning but have late evening flights.

Dubai International Airport offers the option to temporarily store your suitcases and luggage for a fee. This can be useful if you have a long wait between two flights in Dubai and want to explore the city during your layover in Dubai.
The “Left Luggage” service is provided by Emirates airline and can be found in the arrival area of terminal 3 of the airport. The service can be used by both arriving and departing passengers. In addition to Emirates baggage storage, you can also use the Short term storage at the airport itself. These can be found in both terminal 1 and 3 and are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Look for signs in the arrival or departure hall of the airport for the current location of the baggage storage drop-off counter.
