Since February 12, 2019, The Lounge Burj Khalifa in the Burj Khalifa is officially the highest restaurant and lounge in the world. The At.Moshepere restaurant on the 122nd floor at the Burj Khalifa is no longer the world’s highest restaurant.
The new The Lounge Burj Khalifa can be found on the 152nd to 154th floors of the world’s tallest building, at a height of 575 meters. There is even an outdoor terrace on the 152 floor where you can enjoy a drink in the open air and a beautiful panoramic view of Dubai. This makes The Lounge the new highest point in the Burj Khalifa which you can visit, until recently At The Top Sky on the 148th floor was the highest point where you could come as a visitor.
All three floors of the new lounge have their own atmosphere, the 152nd floor has coffee tables and sofas in the Arabic majlis style, while the top floor only has cocktail tables.
Experiences in The Lounge Burj Khalifa
The Lounge Burj Khalifa is open daily “Tea in the clouds” is open between 12:30 pm and 4 pm (enjoy the afternoon tea), Bubbly Sundowner is open between 5:30 pm and 7 pm (get special sunset drinks and canapés) and cocktails under the stars is open from 7.30 pm to midnight (drink and gourmet canapés in the lounge).
There will also be regular live performances by singers, DJs and pianists. The dishes at The Lounge Burj Khalifa are prepared by the same team that also create the menus for the Armani Hotel Dubai which is also located in the Burj Khalifa. The Lounge has its price, an afternoon tea with sandwiches, cakes and treats can be booked from 550 dirham. (about 150 US Dollar) The “evening experience” costs 600 dirham (about 163 US Dollar) for one drink and unlimited canapes.
