The Irish Village Al Garhoud

The Irish Village in Al Garhoud is a few steps from the Dubai International Airport, right next to the Dubai Tennis Stadium. In fact, part of The Irish Village is even in the tennis stadium. When you walk towards the tennis stadium, the striking Irish facades in the stadium quickly attract attention on one side of the stadium.

The Irish Village at Al Garhoud is the original Irish village in Dubai and has existed since 1996. The pavilion was designed and built by some Irish craftsmanship who flew from Ireland to build the entire Irish-style pavilion. Even the stones were taken from an area on the west coast of Ireland. All decorative items in The Irish Village are also original Irish items and all come from Ireland. This ensures that there is a unique atmosphere in The Irish Village at Al Garhoud.

The pavilion opened its doors for the first time in 1996 with only staff from Ireland. To this day this tradition has been maintained and all staff members of The Irish Village are Irish people. The Irish terrace at The Irish Village has been shed several times due to the popularity of the village. Today, the terrace has a capacity of no less than 3500 people.
