Float Dubai is the largest floating nightclub in the world. This nightclub is at the old cruise ship Queen Elizabeth 2. This cruise ship has been converted into the luxury hotel “Queen Elizabeth 2 Hotel” since 2020.
The modern nightclub has a capacity of 1000 people and regularly organizes themed parties also during Halloween, St. Patrick’s Day and New Years. Float Dubai is not only a unique nightclub due to its location on the top deck of the Queen Elizabeth II cruise ship. It features a trendy lounge on the lower deck and an open-air area where you can dance the night away on the sounds of the best local and international artists and DJs.
Trendy nightclub in Dubai
Float Dubai is one of the trendiest nightclubs in Dubai and contains a mix of high tables, private tables around the dance floors and larger private booths with excellent views of both the stage and the iconic Dubai skyline. Next to world-class local and international musicians and DJs, Float Dubai also offers an extensive dinner menu featuring dishes from around the world, including authentic Japanese sushi, Latin and Pan-Asian dishes.
Admission to Float Dubai is free, but the club is very popular, it is recommended to book a table to ensure you get in and get the best seats. Keep in mind that there is a minimum spending requirement by booking a table.
Location Float Dubai and opening times
Float Dubai is at the Queen Elizabeth 2 ship that is permanently moored in the marina of Mina Rashid (Port Rashid). This port is located in the old part of Dubai nearby the Dubai Creek and the historic Al Bastakiya district. The Port Rashid is a short 15 minute drive from Downtown Dubai. The nightclub has valet parking and a small parking lot for visitors. The best way to travel to the Float Dubai nightclub in Dubai is by taxi.
If you want to travel to Float Dubai by public transport, you can get off at the Al Ghubaiba Metro bus stop or at the Al Ghubaiba metro stop on the green line. From here it is about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the Queen Elizabeth 2 cruise ship. Please note that you will have to cross a busy road during the walk which is not recommended. Beside that, public transport does not run after midnight.
The Float Dubai nightclub is open three days a week, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 10 PM to 3 AM.
