Deira City Center is one of the larger shopping malls in Dubai and is in the Deira district, in the older part of Dubai. The Deira district is located east of Bur Dubai and the Dubai Creek and extends from the Dubai Creek to the border of the Emirate of Sharjah and Dubai International Airport.
Deira is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Dubai and was previously known as the business center of the city. This came to an end in the late 1990s with the construction of the many skyscrapers along Sheikh Zayed Road and the development of Downtown Dubai.

The family-friendly Deira City Center shopping mall has around 370 shops. From clothing to televisions and from jewelry to a supermarket. It has well-known brands such as H&M, Zara, Adidas, Diesel, Debenhams, Bershka, Guess, Breitling, Forever 21, Mango and Rolex. There many stores for children, including Gap Children, Gap Baby, Mothercare, Tommy Hilfiger Kids, River Woodsd Baby and KIDZ at Iconic.
Also nice is the special jewelry and textile square where handicrafts from the Middle East are on offer. The ideal place for a beautiful souvenir of Dubai. Beside to the large number of shops, the Deira City Center shopping mall has a cinema, bowling alley, entertainment center, a hotel and a food court with various restaurants and fast food chains where you can go for a short meal or extensive dinner. Ideal to relax with a snack and a drink while shopping.
Deira City Center opening hours
The Deira City Center shopping center is open daily. The shopping center is open from Sunday to Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. On Thursdays and Fridays the shopping center is open from 10:00 am to midnight. How to get to Deira City Centre?
The Deira City Center shopping mall is easy to reach thanks to its location close to the red line of the Dubai metro. To shop at the Deira City Center Mall, you need to get off at the City Center Deira Metro Station. From here it is a few minutes’ walk to the shopping center. It is best to take Exit 1 East Side of the metro station, this exit is closest to the shopping center.
You can also travel to the shopping center by bus. Bus lines 33, C19, 55, C15, 27, C10, C14, 48, 11A and 4 stop at the bus station near the Deira City Center Mall. You can also take a taxi to the shopping center. The Deira City Center Mall has its own taxi pick up & drop off so you can always get off or take a taxi close to the entrance. If you want to drive to the shopping center with your own (rental) car, you can park in the parking garage of the shopping center.
