BOXPARK is a new and trendy shopping concept in Dubai. A small-scale shopping area with a striking combination of art, modern architecture and 220 sea containers converted into retail space, housing a varied range of shops and restaurants. In total there are 30 restaurants and cafes and 14 shops in BOXPARK.
The 1.2-kilometer BOXPARK shopping concept is located in the Jumeirah district, on Al Wasl Road and close to the beach and Downtown Dubai. Thanks to this strategic location, it is expected that this special and new concept will quickly become the social hub for young and trendy locals in particular.
The BOXPARK concept is not entirely new. It has been copied by the developer Meraas from New York, London, Paris and Christchurch in New Zealand where comparable pop-up concepts have been very successful for many years.
Shops and restaurants
The range of shops and cafes in BOXPARK is very diverse. From trendy boutiques with retro clothing to cozy cafes. From shops full of funcky art to the latest collection of Adidas, Nike and Swatch, you can find it all in the BOXPARK stores.
Beside to the many boutiques and shops, there is also a wide range of restaurants in BOXPARK. For dishes from Arabic cuisine you have to go to Logma. In Studio Masr there are mainly dishes from Jordan and Lebanon on the menu. Shish Fish serves as the name suggests mainly Mediterranean fish dishes. The tastiest freshly made burgers are available at the Big Burger location. Also very special is the restaurant The Jag Restaurant where Azerbaijani cuisine is central. Next to the restaurants, there are also a handful of cafes in the shopping complex, including the Classic Car Cafe and Marimekko Cafe.
Opening hours
The shops in BOXPARK are open daily from 10 am to 10 pm. On weekends the shops are open until midnight. (Friday and Saturday). A number of restaurants and cafes in BOXPARK have different opening hours and close their doors on weekends at 1am and midnight on weekdays. Check the BOXPARK website for the changing opening hours of the restaurants and cafes.
Location
BOXPARK is located on Al Wasl Road in the Jumeirah district. It is between Al Safa Park and the trendy Citywalk shopping concept on Al Safa Street.
BOXPARK can be reached by car, taxi or bus. If you want to take the bus to BOXPARK you can take bus lines 12, 15 and 93. You want to go by car then you can park in the 200 private parking spaces in the shopping area.
