If you are looking for jars of baby food, you will notice that almost only jars are sold from the German brand Hipp. The larger supermarkets also have a large range of Ella’s Kitchen, including meal pouches and squeeze fruit packaging. From Hero, you can mainly find jars of fruit in the baby food aisle. For slightly older children, there are also various types of baby biscuits, squeeze fruit and fruit snacks for sale from Organix, Ella’s Kitchen and the Indian brand Slurpp Farm etc. All baby food labels in the United Arab Emirates are in English so that you can clearly see what the ingredients are and what age the baby food or follow-on milk is suitable for.
Please note, in many smaller supermarkets in Dubai such as Zoom Market, the range of baby food is very small. We have been to several supermarkets where there were no jars of baby food available, only squeezed fruit and bottles of Hero baby juice.
