Where is Atlantis The Palm hotel and how do you get there?
The Atlantis The Palm hotel is located on the Palm Jumeirah island off the coast of Dubai. The hotel is easily accessible by car or taxi thanks to the main road on the palm island and the underground tunnel that runs from the stem of the island to the arch around the island.
If you want to visit the Atlantis hotel as a non-guest, you can also opt for the hop-on buses in Dubai, all of which have a stop at the famous hotel. You can also travel to the hotel at the tip of the palm island by public transport. The Palm monorail has been constructed on the palm island with various stations, the end station of which is located at the Atlantis hotel. The starting station of the monorail is at The Gateway Towers. A round trip to the Atlantis hotel from the Gateway starting station costs 30 dirhams, a one-way trip costs you 15 dirhams.
The starting station of the monorail, the Gateway station, has a connection to the Dubai Tram , allowing you to easily travel from the Damac Properties metro station (Dubai Marina station) and DMCC (formerly Jumeirah Lake Towers) or the Dubai Marina to the monorail station with the Dubai Tram. To travel from the Dubai Tram to the monorail station, you need to get off at the Palm Jumeirah tram stop (tram stop no. 9). The monorail itself does not have a direct connection to the Dubai Metro, but the Dubai Tram has a direct connection to the Dubai Metro at the “Dubai Marina” and “DMCC Metro Station” stations.
An alternative way to travel to the monorail station is by taxi. It’s best to take one from the Jabal Ali metro station (formerly known as Nakheel Towers) to the starting point of the monorail at Gateway Towers. Or, of course, directly from your hotel if you don’t feel like taking the metro first. Often, the taxi driver will understand you perfectly if you ask for “monorail the Palm” or “monorail station Palm Jumeirah.”
